The picture book tells the story of a little girl who likes to collect all kinds of strange hats but is ridiculed for her unique hats. However, through observation and quidance from her parents, she learns the process of self- acceptance and realises that everyone has different interests and hobbies. Eventually, she reconciles with herself and understands the diversity of people while accepting herself.
author and illustrator
Jiaoyang Wu is an emerging illustrator. She attended an art school in high school, studied game design in college, and eventually earned a bachelor's degree in digital media arts. She is good at depicting projects on the theme of human self-growth, hoping that they will have some educational significance. She loves to create colorful, bold and simple illustrations,both hand-drawn and electronic.
