A young girl feels lonely, so she leaves home in a golden boat and decides to find the perfect place for herself. On her journey, she meets a kind friend and passes through many planets, but she does not find the perfect place. Tired, she returns to her room and falls asleep.
In her dream, she sees her friend's face and realizes those in her real life made her feel the warmth that she had been seeking.
Xiaoming Xu is an illustrator from China. She graduated from Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts with a bachelor's degree in watercolour and studied contemporary art at Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts as a master's degree. With a passion for painting, she came to Goldsmiths College, University of London to study children's literature: children's book illustration.
