This picture book is about two dogs who are confused by a small mistake, and when they solve the misunderstanding, they receive unexpected kindness, and this is the beginning of a new friendship.
Author and illustrator
Shuyuan Li comes from China, she used to work as an animation background illustrator. This experience of working with words and images made her more skilled in using colors to depict scenes, as well as made her interested in creating her own stories. The shift from dynamic to static also made her more focused on composition of her drawing and the expression of her illustration language.
