The story takes place on the first day of the hotel's opening, and Neil is busy as the hotel's new caretaker. Unfortunately, on his first day he runs into big trouble and makes a mess of the hotel. Embarrassed, Neil runs out of the hotel. Outside, Neil meets a lot of new friends who all try to help him as much as possible, and Neil eventually finds his value in this unexpected journey. This picture book contains elements of friendship, growth, and overcoming obstacles, and hopes to bring strength to children who are in a state of confusion.
Author and illustrator
Lingyun Jiang borned in China. She is currently studying children's book illustration at Goldsmiths in London. Since her childhood, she has had a keen interest in nature and animals, and this love has been the starting point of her creative career. When choosing the protagonists of her books, she did not hesitate to choose animals because she believes that their innocence and strength can touch children's hearts. She is committed to creating vivid and fascinating characters, hoping that through their amazing experiences, they will convey joy and courage and inspire children to explore and respect the natural world.
