Wee Willie Winkie is a wild, courageous and independent character living in a forest away from town. Her only job is to get every child in town to sleep before bedtime. She is perfectly content being by herself, finding friends in the forest animals and entertainment in nature. This sets her apart from the townsfolk, who find her differences unnerving.
But one day, when Wee Willie Winkie doesn’t appear to help put the children to bed, the townsfolk have to put their differences aside to bring her back or else risk chaos.
Iona Campbell is a London based illustrator who loves to combine traditional and digital media. Having thoroughly enjoyed the MA in Children’s Illustration, she’s looking forward to pursuing a career in the illustration or graphic design industry.
