Bluecat Redcat
a small human, an old human, and, as the title ever so subtly implies, two cats! Bluecat and Redcat, sibling cats, and teeny tiny ones at that.
One would find the two siblings nearly identical, if not for the colour of their fur; but don’t be fooled! Despite their appearance their personalities could not be any more different, because, as the old human says “there is no worse cat than a cat like Bluecat” or so it seems; she appears so sure of it she must be correct… right?
Author and illustrator
Mariavittoria Fidone or Mavi is an illustrator originally from Sicily and currently based in London, where they are pursuing a Masters degree in children’s literature and illustration at Goldsmiths University;
Their first illustrated work “Apuleio raccontato ai ragazzi” was published in 2023.
When they are not falling asleep at the most inconvenient times Mavi can be found curled in a corner, on the ground, doodling.
